Irrellevant apps

Why does my phone say I will have to install an app just to go to a website . When I say yes it shows me a list of apps which are useless to my search. I cannot get any websites apart from the useless ones I download. for example I want some camping sites it shows completely irrelevant apps . I've only had the mobile a week.

Sorry Juanitori i'm afraid i'm not computer literate to be able to do what you ask . Fortunately by playing around with the phone I have managed to get google as my opening page and therefore treat it as my home computer. However I would like to thank you so much for your quick response to my problem and to your welcome.

Well Alan, I want to thank you for having impeccable manners. URL is short for web address, eg www.?????.com/org/edu, etc.. But hey, Google sells off your info.. Microsoft doesn't. Plus Bing search works better and is prettier. Only time I use Google is for torrents..FYI
