Is it normal for restoration to last more than 2 hours ?

Im restoring my backup in order to fix cortana
I'm worried, the gauge for restoration was stuck at 25% for more than 2 hours I don't want to cancel the restoration process
Is it normal and should I continue or should I cancel it and restart the restoration ??

yh some people get it for over 4 hours, just leave it another hour then see what happen

Couldn't do that :s I restarted it and lost everything ,EVERYTHING
And I cant restore it again :s any ideas ???

a restore from backup option should come up when you're setting up? if it doesn't that means you didn't turn your backup on

The option was there the first time
I was restoring it but it took forever and it kept sending me this message on whether I should continue restoring or not every 5 minutes . I tolerated for 2 hours and then I was fed up so I skipped it
I hard resetted one more time directly hoping I could redo the restoration but it wasn't there
