Is it possible to have a wired internet connection with the Microsoft Display Dock (HD-500)?

I know that the HP-elite x3 with desk dock is possible, but I have a Lumia 950xl with Microsoft display dock, which has no RJ45 port. However there are some Rj45-USB adapters, even with USB 3.0, Would it work?

Usually in the office, there are LAN connections through RJ45 cables and I would like to try for a better connection
