Is it possible to turn off "swipe to go back or forward"?

Is it possible to turn off the IE gestures?

The sensitivity is set way too high, and everytime I scan across a page it snaps backwards, causing loading times, etc. Then since IE is buggy, sometimes even loses the page I was on.

Anyone know if this is possible?
