Is Lumia 535 a worthy upgrade from Lumia 625?

Hi there! Right now I own a Lumia 625 because I love huge screen in an affordable price tag. Now that Microsoft has announced Lumia 535, I think Microsoft is doing the right thing within the affordable line. It has the potential to be the most-widely used Lumia device for its value. There's even a recent article in Windows Central which highlights how Lumia 535 beats Lumia 530 and even Lumia 630 (in terms of value and screen size).

Now the real question is: Is Lumia 535 a worthy upgrade from Lumia 625? It is clear that Lumia 535 beats Lumia 625 in terms of screen size, RAM, and front-facing camera, but how about other aspects like CPU+GPU performance, rear camera, etc? Thanks! 😁

Everything in the 535 it's an upgrade of the 625... except for the SoC or the CPU+GPU, the 625 packs a S400 dual core, even the 535 have a quad core SoC, the dual core S400 is quite superior vs S200 quad core. Well at least for benchmarks or for very demanding apps. Another issue is the video recording, the 535 is restricted to 480p because of the raw power limitations of the S200.

The 625 can take video shots in 1080p because of the more powerful S400.

A wise move is to wait reviews of the 535 before deciding.

How about the battery life? Theoretically speaking, will Lumia 535's battery performance (1905 mAh with 5") be very different from Lumia 625's (2000 mAh with 4.7")?

The 535 is a worthy upgrade to the 625. It has a better FCC, better screen and dual sim (if you are into that stuff)

If budget is not a constraint, it's better to go with 730, a real worthy upgrade at ₹15000 and is slim and light weight too.

I think that sd 200 processor in 535 is fine enough, coz I own 530 too, it doesn't have any issues. So well I think in terms of performance, no way it'll lag behind 625.
Definitely 535 is a worthy upgrade from 625
