Is my battery ok?

As i've seen on internet reviews before buying this phone they made the battery look like its' monstruously good,but isnt as i expected,gsmarena said 10 h of video playback and asphalt 8 about 7 hours ) ...my experience as follows:
-browsing apps like Windows central,discovery,flipboard,throught phones menu,facebook,9gag,mail,messaging battery drops 1 percent every 5 min so 8 hours
-watching youtube videos on tubecast 1 percent every 2,5-3 minutes so this makes 4-4,5 hours
-playing asphalt 8 1 percent every 3 minutes so 5 hours
-after 8 hours of sleep 2 percent down,no glance screen,all data off (wifi,network,nfc,bt) location on
-my brightness is always set on medium,the factory default medium

So its my phones problem or this is just the battery of 640XL? Ty have a nice day :*

almost all tips applied,i have some experience with phones
so this is normal..hmm i wonder how did review sites got so much battery life...but oh well...im happy even with this although had higher hopes for 3000mah

My battery was even worse. After hard reset and only installing just a few essential apps the battery is running ok.
At first I was excited and installed lots of apps, put many tiles on the main screen... I read they drain battery too.

Set the brightness to low and then auto, put on home screen only the most used tiles, set the glance screen on peek (some say glance screen doesn't drain that much battery, I should test it more), stop all the apps ruuning in the background (I have allowed only weather, facebook messenger and calendar). I might add later my emails, but I don't receive too many emails through the day, so I can manually check them 1-2 times a day.
