Is the 1520 going away?

The phone is "End of Life". Please don't make me go to work on my day off to get proof.

I thought "End of Life" meant no longer supported, in which case this isn't true. Discontinued in production, yes. But "end of life"? No.

Successors or not, let's wait for the show coming this week. I hope to see lots of rocking the Windows Phone world stuffs coming. But not pinning too much of hopes.....

Most likely not selling well in stores and not worth the space that it takes up and constant shipments they get. Just because it's off the shelves, doesn't mean it's completely discontinued. If there was a successor planned, we would've seen some leaks by now.

I'm kind of amazed that the Lumia 1520 has been discontinued. I'm still very happy/satisfied with this phone after 13 months, where as after one year with my last phone, an iPhone 5, I was thoroughly bored. I'm looking forward to another year with this one!

End of Life does not mean it isn't supported. I can promise it is end of life though.

I agree. This really is too bad. I wonder what the next Windows Phablet is going to be. I remember reading an article a while back about a successor to the Lumia 1520 but, I haven't heard anything about it since then. It's always a little sad when a product that you have or support is discontinued. I still love mine, though.

The replacement better have at least a 6-inch screen or it is unlikely I will purchase one.
