FInally you get it. OP was focused on value, comparing the original Band to the Band 2.
We are getting clues of the differences in the reviews today. Besides the much improved look and feel of the Band 2, the WC review points out that new functions like smart alarm, rotate, UV reminder and some improvements to the UI will not be available on the original Band. Now the OP and others have a little more info about whether it is worth buying the $249 Band 2 instead of the $129 original Band.
I think the Band 2 looks good. It'll sell a lot just on its good looks. Hey, people can be superficial heh.
