Is the Wallet app dead?

I know that Windows Phones OS came with a Wallet app. I wasn't quite sure what to do with it, so consequently didn't use it at all. Well, I've learned it might be used for loyalty cards. I'd like to add some of my loyalty cards to it, but every time I launch it the app immediately quits.

So has it been abandoned?

It still works for me. It shows my Microsoft balance and PayPal.

Why is it, then, when I try to get into the Wallet it immediately fails?

What OS are you running? 8, 8.1, or 10?
