Is there a delay in release of the new Surface Pro Pen?

Pre-ordered the new Surface Pro Pen and it was supposed to be shipped by 22nd August 2017. And as of today, 28 August, still no news from Microsoft.

Just received the message from the courier that they have just dispatched the parcel (29 Aug).
