I've kind of found a niche for my USA T-Mobile branded 635 that I can use it for. I'd like to unlock it so I can get updates from Microsoft including OS updates. Is there a way to do this?

I believe you can unlock it to use on another network/carrier, but in the end, any updates for it will still be on T-mobile's end.
