Is there an way to make more close macro shots?

Well i know its not possible to get focus shorter than 15 cm with 1020, but when you try to focus an closer thing, in a second it gets the focus, and then loses it.
So i was thinking here, if there is any trick to shorter this distance. anyone?

Turn on pro mode in Nokia Camera and then from focus start with minimal focus.
Play around with the distance of your camera and the object until the object is sharp.
Snap a pic, reframe/zoom later or crop from the 34mp sample.
