Is there any workaround to get Nokia's Black firmware?

I have been out of the loop for a while, Now I'm back with a 1020, but I'm really disappointed with the camera performance when using the flash (Yellow Tint/White Balance issue). I remember that you could use Navifirm to download Nokia's firmware and install it on you device.

Is that still possible, so I can install Black Firmware on my 1020? is there a guide?

I have NaviFirm+ account but there is no Black firmware for any variant of Lumia 1020 yet, let alone the AT&T variant.

For the moment, play with manual camera settings, such as white balance and exposure values to try and remedy the situation.

Hyped compared all the competitive smartphone cameras. Why the hell do I need to take green pictures.The same can be said for the soft/blurred 920 photos.

As for now, Nokia Cares suit does'nt recognise the Lumia 1020 properly for some firmwares.
I also want the Black update soon. but,waiting waiting.

As far as about the Hype Factor, 1020 kills all.... (except for the 808,have'nt really tried it)
808 has a bigger sensor, than the 1020, but the 1020 has OIS, which fills in for it. The camera algorithms are set for this era where people want vibrant looking colors.

I can record my meetings sitting from a distant with the loss less zoom its awesome.

Lumia Black is the next iteration of Nokia's custom firmware package. The current one is Lumia Amber, just fyi.

These packages add on additional features and functionality unique to Lumia phones such as glance, flip-to-silence etc.

Really dissapointed too...

Yesterday I went to a Microsoft store at Orlando and asked a seller about this camera issue. He said it was simple to solve, "there are lots of apps that you can correct the picture after taking". And he said that as if it was the most simple and obvious thing.

At that time I got tired just to think that I should explain him that it is unacceptable buying a cel phone like Lumia 1020 and need to fix the image after taking it.

I don't own a 1020, but it might be that you got a broken unit, of course this is pure speculation here

Download this app. Register your live account as a developer (make sure you select the free one)
Accept terms in app.
Go to settings and check for update. I did it on my Lumia 810. Runs smooth as ever
