Likely there would be universal search. Remember Wp8 is much like Windows 8. and Windows 8 does have universal search so yea. It's likely

I never used WebOS. Is "just type" anything like universal search in BlackBerry?

I hated that on BB when I went from BB5 to 6 on my 9650. It took away home screen dialing to an extent.
