Is word available for 1520? w10m

[Windows Central Question]

Every time I try to open word, PowerPoint or Excel on my Lumia 1520 it says that I need to get a office 365 subscription. I've read online that it only requires a subscription if you have a device with a screen over 10 inches. Is a bug or did something change?

Reinstall the Office apps, its a common bug.
