Issue with 3rd Monitor from Surface Dock with surface book

I am running a i7 Surface Book with the upgraded gpu. I have it connected to a dock and have 3 monitors connected. The issue arises with the 3rd Monitor that was daisy chained from DisplayPort to DisplayPort. It works but it flickers at times and goes black from time to time. I thought maybe it was the cord but I changed it and had the same issue.

Can the Surface book run 3 Monitors like this effectively or am I out of luck at running 3 monitors off the book?

Considering that people have issues just trying to get 2 monitors up and running, I wouldn't be surprised if this is the case. Are your monitors just HD or are they higher resolution like 4k?

It doesn’t have a problem running 2 screens off the dock, it’s only when I shutdown the Surface Book screen and run the 3rd monitor. These are not 4k but normal HD running at 1080 and 60hz.

Well, it seems to be the 2x 4k monitors that cause the most trouble. I think I recall seeing someone have a 3 monitor + the surface book's own screen setup working, but they were using the Surface Dock to do it, and the 3rd monitor was connected using a USB adapter. In short, I think 3 monitors is possible, but people have had a lot of issues getting multi-monitor setups to work with the Surface Book, so don't be surprised if it takes some seriously weird stuff to get it working. There was a thread on these forums about multi-monitor setups using the dock, but maybe some of the info in there would help you figure your setup out:
