I recently installed Windows 10 Education on my PC (after working with Linux for a while) and I seem to be having some issues with Power management. Whenever my PC goes to sleep due to inactivity, the screen will remain off and won't wake up afterwards. The Power Button LED is on instead of blinking (in sleep mode it should be blinking) and my PC won't respond except Speed Test Scrabble Word Finder Solitaire
for a forced shut down (i.e. holding the power button down for a few seconds).
Same thing happens when I try to shut down from the start menu. It will go through the shut down process and the screen will turn off, but the Power LED will stay on and won't respond to anything except a forced shut down.
I tried updating all my drivers from the manufacturer's website but that didn't fix the issue.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
