This is was Techbloger his user name was changed. I want to make sure no one on this team is changing user names in the PP. According to James anyone with PP Admin access can change user names in the PP. We were all instructed not to change anything in the PP its only to be used for banning when necessary. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING IN THE PP. There is a serious issue with Techbloger/Jasmac he is removed from the Ambassador program until I have resolved the issue with him he will not be an Ambassador. If anyone on this team changed his user name please PM me.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought Jazmac was Techblogger, based upon his George Jefferson avatar, but I wasn't able to find Techblogger when I searched via mod control panel yesterday.

I did not change his screen name.

It wasn't me. I only go into PP to ban. I assume ambassadors can't access it. Maybe something happened when they got their own forum over there by mistake.

He finally replied to a PM it seams it was one of our PP developers combining user names with the same email addresses but different names on more than one MN site.. This is the user name he was using on AC. He still wont give me his First/Last name and email address so he wont be an Ambassador till he does. He keeps PMing me and skipping over that part of my replies. He reminds me of a special other member of the mod team that eventually decided to join the team. :grincry:

It wasn't you. It was in CampFireNow chat a while back and the other mods yelled at me for it saying it would screw up the system if I did it.

I have a question re: screen names.

What if a person wants a screen name change, and that person is not a moderator, ambassador, or regular on one particular site? If he or she is active on all sites but is platform-agnostic and wouldn't consider one particular site his/her favorite, how does he/she go about changing his/her screen name? IOW, that person wouldn't really have a "Team Leader" since, he/she isn't part of any particular "team", but uses all sites equally.

Who is the contact person to request a name change in that instance?

None of this is my decision to make. I would say that name changes are not a get it done now thing. This is all good topic for debate why don't you start a thread in the MN forum so all the mods can make their comments. I personally think it needs to be a one man job for all the Nations. One person who knows what's going on and can answer questions. Having a backup wouldn't be a bad idea. This could easily be accomplished by making a master list in the MN forum.
