Just bought a replacement 950xl - and I finally got lucky :?)

Out of the box hardware problems I had with my old pre order 950xl are gone :?)

1) No camera rattle when touching the screen - Yes!!! thank god
2) Screen needs no colour adjustment - Old one as very warm with bad viewing angles
3) No creaking case (yet) - This might be because I was mega careful popping it off this time

Oh and one more thing :?)

4) The corners of my glass screen are not bent downwards slightly meaning I might be able to get a screen protector to stick :?)

That's great to hear. I have mine ordered from Carphone Warehouse in the UK with an estimated delivery of 19th January. It's painful to have to wait that long but its nice to see that potentially the new batches have been updated. Seems like updates are improving most issues too, can't wait to get my hands on it!

How did you get your Lumia replaced? The back cover of my 950xl is creaking and doesn't fit the camera well. Thinking about having it replaced, but the stock is really low here in US.

Really? You can definitely have it replaced for free!!! I think you can still return your old one within 30 days of purchase.
So how long did it take to get a new one? And where did you get this new one?

Ordered it from UK Ms store online on 29th payed 10? extra for faster delivery arrived 31st by UPS I was surprised it was that fast
Fulfilled by ingram micros same as my last one

That is an older revision, my two pre order 950XL's are 4.0.3.1

I tried it a week and noticed when the phone power off, the 3 navigation key on bottom light up, and phone get warm, next time power on the battery dropped a lot. I tried all kinds of thing but no fix. I contacted technical support and they said the phone is currently out of stock, only option is to return it.

I don't know if all the units are same or it happen to some units.

Any user experienced this problem? does single version unit have this problem?

Check if the iris scanner is on (a red light at the left top).

Did you enable iris scan? Just do hard reset button combo or use device recovery tool.

I did soft reset and hard reset using button combo. still no fix. I tried device recovery tool, when it get to flashing mode, the phone keep restart, cannot get into flashing mode.

i had issues with mine as well. called microsoft to have it replaced and the lady said they could do it but didn't know when the replacement would be mailed because it was out of stock. so out of stock and can't really use the phone i just decided to return for refund. gona wait what happens. and i see its still out of stock
