Just broke up with Blackberry

I just broke up with Blackberry and I'm loving it. Just one thing I just bought a Nokia Icon and I'm not able to upgrade to 8.1 I really want to use Cortana. Please help.

8.1 isn't out for that device yet, though you can still use the developer preview.

Explain? What kind of developer feature do you seek? If its preview for developers updates your seeking check the app store. If your trying to access root/superuser etc you can't on WP, its a bit more restrictive than android but also way more secure
But if that's what your going for its on you and bye bye warranty, check xda developers for windows phone rooting.

Hope you will enjoy your WP experience. I love it. Especially the camera and the very smooth OS which is the first mobile OS that I don't need to troubleshoot / optimize or jailbreak.

Thank you. I have been enjoying it alot. The OS is simply beautiful. It feels modern not dated. The OS does feel complete.
