Just ordered a SP4. What are the setup procedures?

What should I know?

What I do know:

• Disable Connected Standby and set to hibernate (not sure how)
• Somehow create a power plan that will drop max CPU usage down to 50% (also not sure how)

Is there anything else I should do to it to increase battery life and stability?

I bought the middle-of-the-road Surface. i5 - 8GB RAM - 256GB storage.

My uses for the next year will be a lot of note-taking and homework at my university. Maybe some light games when I'm really bored (Tharsis, DotE, Don't Starve, Magic Duels) that will run easily on an integrated GPU.

Windows key + S, search "power" and click the "power and battery" control panel. Everything you need is there

I just got my two new SP4s and I leave everything on default and works great. I have a total of 3 of what you call middle of the road. Just got my last two of the three today
