KB4041676 can't install

KB4041676 update issued on 2017-OCT-10 is running on my laptop for ever unable to complete the update. Direct updating was stock at 16% then at 38% and finally I had to download the whole KB4041676 of some 900MB and attempt installing but it is unable to finish the update. :sweaty::amaze::unhappysweat::angry::crying: Any helping hint is appreciated with thanks.

You may want to hold off as this update has caused problems for some. FWIW, I've updated 3 systems without a problem. Anyway, go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download and delete all the subfolders and files. Don't delete the Download folder, only files in it. Then try checking for updates again.

Wow! Thanks a lot bro. Worked charming. Deleting so many garbage file needed to reboot in Safe Mode.
