Keep contact icons from fliiping

Is there a way to keep the contact icons on the home page from flipping. I would really like to to have either the photo or the name show without the animation.

nope, You can make the contact tile smaller so that it does not flip :wink:

Yeah, I have tried both sizes prefer the medium size but find the flipping distracting.

You can't turn it off, maybe there's an app that lets you pin the contact app without anything live, but I'm not sure if anyone bothered.
