Keeping photos-folder on phone and OneDrive in sync (deleted photos also disappears on OneDrive)

Hello everyone, first time poster here!

I did a quick search and looked through this forum but I couldn't find any similar threads so I'll ask here instead.

My question is this;
is it possible to make it so that when photos are edited/deleted on my phone this is also reflected in my camera roll-folder on OneDrive?
Cause usually when I'm out and about I'm usually taking multiple pictures of the same thing to ensure that I afterwards can select the best shot.

I currently have my phone set to auto-upload pictures which means that all of these duplicates are also uploaded to my OneDrive-folder if I'm not quick to review and delete them before I get home. I don't really wanna have to do this every time I get home; usually I just want to get to bed and deal with it the next day. Also I don't wanna have to turn on/off the auto-upload since I could forget it some time and then if I lose my phone they're gone.

Do you have any tips or solutions on how to solve this? I was thinking about maybe copying the names of all the photos on my phone and somehow using the list to automatically delete those that are not on my phone.

Thank you for reading :smile:

That bugs me too. I think of my phone as having the canonical photos and the OneDrive auto-uploads as a back-up. I then pull those photos off the phone occasionally.
You can set the auto-upload to happen immediately. Then the uploaded files aren't full size. That saves bandwidth. You get full-size uploads if you set it to upload when only on WiFi.
