Keyboard disapearing act

Ok, I'm getting tired of this disappearing act when typing long messages. And its happened more frequently.

Anybody have a quick fix to this? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Agreed. It's pretty frustrating. Other folks on the forum say it's an issue with background apps that MS is going to have to release a patch to fix.

Workaround is to turn off background tasks.

Correct. It's a Mango thing.

I had it happen on NoDo on my HD7 just nowhere near as frequently as on Mango. I also have it less now on my Titan than I did on my HD7.

Really? I never had it happen once before Mango, and I've never heard of anyone else having the issue until after Mango started rolling out. Weird.

I've had the mango update for a long while now, its about time they get a patch out for this.

Never noticed this on my focus with mango but im sure noticing it on my Titan. And yes it gets really annoying.

THanks everyone for your input. I think I've isolated the problem. And beleive it is KIK messenger, could someone check my work? I un-installed KIK and rebooted so far I haven't had any issue with keyboard dispearing (2 weeks time).

It's happened to me a of couple times. It's only occurred once in the messaging app. When it does happen, it happens in the browser.

I've never had Kik messenger at all and I have had the disappearing keyboard multiple times...

Disappearing keyboard is more widespread than any single app. Seems to be Mango...never had this problem on Verizon Trophy, even with Mango.

I know that, but I was just letting him know to disprove his theory that it was that specific app

On Mango, the disappearing keyboard occured quite frequently on my Trophy.

If you turn off the backround apps or reduce the number of open ones to two that are in use in settings applications background agents the problem should clear up.
