keyboard issues

I got my surface RT up and running. I was able to get the keyboard working when I first set it up but now when I try to use it in Word or anything it won't work. It is layed out flat on the table but still it won't work??? Help please.

Hmm it worked fine for me. Did you try resetting your device and then plugging the kb in?

I got it working, we do have to "break" they keyboard in?
It is touchy right now it work and when it doesn't i have to try to plug it back in and it works so......

I haven't had that issue yet but only been using it for a couple hours. So far no problems.

is there an firmware update or anything, im at work and am not able to update anything. No wifi here
