Kid mode

Hi all so o am new to wp. I am trying to set up kid mode for my daughter, what i find odd is that it suggests to set a password but this means the password is set for kid mode also. Is there not a way to set a password for me and non for kid mode.

I've found this and after doing a bit of digging this appears to be a bug bear for a number of users. Unsure whether there's a fix coming...

How long do you have the screen locked for before it needs a password?

I have my phone lock after 15min, but kids corner doesn't need to type a pin to get in even if the phone is locked.

Hm odd as this is how i thought it should work. But not on mine. It just seems silly to set a password for main area but then ya got to tell your kids it anyway so they can get into kid mode, or type it in for them. Hope they fix this.

If you don't set a password for the kid mode, the child can press power button twice and exit the kid mode, which could be a horror story.

Its actually kids corner and not kid mode
