Hi All,
Have you noticed huge battery usage by kik messenger? I really liked this app. However my battery is draining out so quickly. Continuous use leads to empty it in appx. 30 minutes.
App is so light weight and I feel very useful for texting.
What do you guys say?

It hasn't been updated since Windows Phone 7, even if you have issues with the app, they aren't going to fix them.

I agree completely. I have a 925, and it quickly overheats while on kik. It does significantly drain my battery while in use. I suspect it is because it hasn't been updated in forever, and isn't optimized for 8.1
