[L925] Low Light Imaging?

Dear all,

I am sure this question has been asked, but my Lumia 925 camera performs badly in low light. Without flash, images are grainy and with a yellow tinge. In daylight, the camera is great/excellent.

Is this normal?

No, nokia messed up the image postprocessing with Amber update and it remained like that.

Use lower ISO and set white balance on a colder side.

Reading the issues in this thread, I took this a few minutes ago using Vocal Camera on my 925. There is some noise, but I'm not seeing the yellow. The image is cropped. I did no post processing in regard to contrast or color. To me, for the amount of light in the room with no flash this is exceptional and certainly nothing to complain about.

It's normal for old x2x lumia series: it's a buggy postprocessing algorithm introduced by the Amber upgrade (and never solved by now)

I fixed this issue with a downgrade to Portico on my 920. Now I have spectacular photos
