Okay... I've searched the reviews, youtube, forums, and my phone. I have no clue how to turn on my rear (or is it front) facing camera. the little "opposite arrow" icon suggests i can "find more lenses" except apparently, the one facing the user. Is its use limited to certain obscure apps or maybe Skype (which I no longer use since their last update wiped out my entire SKYPE contact list) I have no way to take a selfie unless I use a mirror or the bazzilion megapixel camera.... blindly. I've had this phone for 6 months and finally realized i didn't know how to switch between the front and rear camera lenses.
I will gladly except feeling stupid if someone can clear this up for me.

re:

LOL best thread ever! ok jokes aside.. If you're using the stock camera app that came with the phone then look at the top of the screen, there should be an icon there displaying a camera and a person in front of it.. If you're using lumia camera app (Download it; recommended) then tap the three buttons on the bottom right hand side of the screen and select front facing cam :)

:excited:

For Lumia Camera:
Tap the three dots in the upper right of the screen and you'll see front facing.

For the default cam:
Look for the the circle with a figure next to a camera left side of the screen.

Re:

Thanks Ven07. My dots are at the bottom of the screen but you are right the "camera with the person" icon opens the self facing camera. I knew what the other 3 icons were for.. somehow this one was a mental block. I feel sufficiently foolish for not getting it.
