Lag with PDF Drawboard

[Windows Central Question]

I just purchased the surface book 16gb ram i7 with 512gb memory... i upgraded from the base model i5. the i5 didnt seem to lag at all with annotating pdf's in drawboard. the new one pops up "processing" more often now. is this normal? or did i get a lemon. there are no programs on this thing, i just upgraded last night to the i7.

i purchased the i5 to test it out last week, decided to upgrade yesterday.

ok, all signed up. yes all the updates are installed... i shouldnt be having any kind of lag using the pdf drawboard right? im just worried about getting a lemon... i really want piece of mind, especially at that price tag!

can you try other apps and programs to see if the lag is also noticeable with them too?
