Lap dock tap to connect: mouse and keyboard not functioning

Hi Guys, I posted this thread on HP Support forum for Elite X3 last week, I am just wondering if I'm the only one that has this issue

I'm trying to connect to my Lap Dock wirelessly using tap to connect as Daniel Rubino is showing at approx 4:22 in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYbrT_Vn578

However, when I connect using this method, the lap dock's trackpad and* keyboard are not working. I cannot use them. But, when I connect using the regular method (continuum-->connect), both keyboard and track pad works.

Am I missing something? The lap dock has been updated to the latest firmware last week.

Same for me, update everything to the latest, X3, Lap dock firmware, etc.

According to our account rep HP wont support this until the production release of Redstone 2.

That would explain why it was working in Daniel's demo. He might used a phone upgraded to Redstone 2 insider's builds.

Actually, I had this problem 2 with my Lumia 9:15 and then I had the HP envy X 3. Try update the firmware and Voila. It works with my Lumia 950. However, before that, it still worked with other Lumia 950 XL and other Lumia 9:15, then I have around my family.

Are we talking about the Elite X3 and lap dock here? No offence but that was the initial topic on this thread . I mentioned before that I updated both the phone and the lap dock to the latest firmware's and I still have the issue.

I should clarify. Mine is on the latest fast ring build and I still have this issue. Our mobility rep with HP stated that if it works it works if it doesn't it doesn't. They guarantee nothing right now.

Here is my take: Don't use the Inside builds. The Lap Dock firmware and Wireless Utility firmware both have updates available only through the HP Elite X3's Device Hub so far. I had the prob that my dual-sim Lumia 950 didn't respond to keyboard and trackpad in the beginning, but to an ATT L950, dual sim 950XL and Elite X3 it did. I stopped trying. A couple of firmware updates later and all function well.
