It does worry me that picking 800 x 480 in the first place was a lack of forward planning as it's awkward to go up from there. Bit concerned at Joe B's comments too - going forwards you can't compete on quality if your hardware is what the market deems middling quality, because then your graphics can only ever be middling quality, then your user experience suffers and so on. When is 800 x 480 going to be too low? Next year? The year after?
