Left headphone not working, headphone or phone prob?

Hello!

Recently my Nokia WH-208 set that came with the phone stopped working. Initially it started with the mic not functioning and sometimes if I receive too many notifications when there is no music playing, the right headphone stops working. This would remain the case until the phone is restarted.

I thought it was the actual headphones themselves that had stopped working, but when I bought a new pair, I noticed the same problem occurred. The right headphone would randomly stop working. The headphones work fine on non-WP phone. I concluded that it may actually be an issue with the phone itself.

Has any one else had this problem?

Are you using wp 8.1? It happens sometimes, it's a common bug that needs to be fixed.

Yes. But I had this problem before WP8.1. So it may be something else.

Reboot does help temporarily, but it doesn't solve the problem as such. And it's an annoying problem. You're listening to music, receive a notification and lose sound in one ear.

I' ve got the same issue on my l920.
I thought it was after the 8.1 update.
I tried the Microsoft Customer Suport for any help and they said to go for a Soft and a Hard Reset.
I tried both of them and the issue still persists.
Its driving me nuts.
