Yeah, and if it was 2001 it would be lack of a MySpace app, and in 2007 lack of a Bebo app, and next year it will be some other nonsense.
I still maintain the universal apps will be what closes the app gap, as the "classic" Windows market is too big for most to ignore. However teen fad apps like Snapchat can ignore it cos their target demographic don't use computers, they use phones, and if they choose to ignore Windows there's nothing Microsoft can do about it.
