Let's settle this "Bing v Google" argument.

To be fair, doesn't Bing admittedly use results from Google? That kind of taints the results, as one search engine piggy-backs on the other's algorithm.

Bing absolutely does not piggy back off Google at all. Don't fall victim to Google's fake *** "sting" they setup a couple months ago. It was complete FUD that too many people still believe.

Also, I just now noticed after going on bing that they have some rewards program. I'm assuming this is old news but has anyone signed up for this?

I've been using Bing since WPCentral's article on the rewards thing and haven't needed to use Google at all. In fact, before Bing, I was actually using Yahoo because of my dislike for sheeping to Google as if they're the be-all, end-all.

I have. So far I have about 800 points but it's still not enough to turn IN for stuff.

They both worth fine for me. I think for some people, they like to b!tc# about Bing just because MS owns it. They both work but I prefer Bing now.

I got 3-2 for Bing, but it was tough. Both searches came very close to what I needed.
And I use both search engines, so it's not overly important to me. MyYahoo is my homepage on my laptop because of my email and customization, but I rarely use it for a search engine.
I generally go into Google to search and sometimes Bing. On my Trophy I know Bing is the default homepage which is fine. I don't even know if I could change it to what I want if I wanted to, so I can live with it.
Besides, as I said in another post. I somewhat enjoy the different homepage Bing has everyday with a little history about it.

I use Bing for the credits, which I turn into Microsoft Points. Can't beat free Microsoft Points!!
