LG Optimus 7 no proxy connection after mango

have anyone of you guys experienced problems when attempting to connect a proxy network after updating to mango? i have a proxy network at the office and ever since i updated to mango i can not connect to it... this was working ok in nodo. antoher thing is my friend has a HTC Mozart, after mango he gets around 4 days of battery life in battery saver mode. my optimus lasts about the same. has anyone seen any improvement with the battery life on optimus 7?
