Life after 1520

So I haven't really seen beloved Lumia 1520 in the past 90 or so days because of it being stuck in a 3 Repair before Replacement/Refund kind of thing. ( Nokia, Microsoft or my Reseller, who ever of the three of you is responsible this crap - **** You! Big Times! )

Anyway... As I don't really have hope for this problem to be fixed anyways I was already preparing for the Replacement I'm about to receive when I noticed the 1520 not even being offered by my Reseller and even worse hard to come by even by the likes of Amazon.

Luckily I was able to snatch one more, be it a replacement for me or my family, but I'm still kind of wondering:
What is considered the current Windows Phone Flagship and thus considered a Successor to the Lumia 1520?

The current top-of-the-line phones are:

Nokia Lumia 1520
Nokia Lumia Icon/930 (near identical specs, just in smaller package)
HTC One M8 (a bit faster, similar to 930 under-the-hood)
Samsung ATIV SE (compare to 930, behind on updates and exclusive to one carrier worldwide)

for the most part they're on about equal footing.
