Lines on the L635 screen?

Whenever light reflects off of the screen of my L635, I can see sort of dotted lines criss crossing across the screen. Is this normal? It doesn't bother me much but I've been wondering what this is.

I believe what you're seeing there is the capacitive touch grid under the glass cover.
This is hidden a bit better on higher quality glass displays.

This isn't a defect in any way.

Thank you for the response, I've never seen it on another phone so it had me puzzled. The lines are in a grid pattern so that must be what it is.
