Listen to my voice only?

I had Cortana on voice always on my coffee table, and I got a text and she asked me if I wanted her to read it. My wife answered yes and Cortana proceeded to tead the text. Can she be made to only listen to me?

Not yet, at least. Cortana is still only in beta. However, this is entirely possible.
