Another Newbie Question how does the phone Sync with computer windows 8?, I gather you need a Live ID on both for this to happen. Can you download Apps without a Live ID on the phone? or ..is it best to log in with a Microsoft email?..Just used to Android, so getting used to it thanks.

Your best experience will be to use the same Microsoft account on your Windows 8 PC and your Windows Phone. That will help with syncing settings and also help if you get Universal apps, which work on both devices and only need to be purchased once on either the PC Windows Store or the Windows Phone Store.
