Contact tiles showing wrong photos even with accounts removed and added, linked unlinked etc any ideas?

Remove and re-add your accounts (FB, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) from your outlook.com site profile rather than from the phone itself. See if that helps.

If you are reffering to pictures from facebook accounts, there is an issue regarding the fact that it shows the cover photo from profile pictures album of the user and not the current profile picture. There is a thread about that here, maybe it helps.
