Live Tile Story

[Mile#WP]

Silly little story, but thought I'd share...

I was texting and went back to the home screen and saw the Weather Channel app switch from the "it's cloudy" tile to the radar map tile, which showed rain coming. I tapped in and verified, and then quickly got my dogs ready for an early walk. Sure enough, as we were getting back home it started raining. If not for that live tile, I'd just be heading out now, wishing I had done it before the rain!

I too didn't know weather channel had a live tile. Much better. Gives me a quick map glimpse of my current area. Nice.

I just switched to the Weather Channel app just because of the map on the live tile. I've used other weather apps including Accuweather and WeatherLive. They both had live tiles and worked well, but I like having the map on the live tile. It makes it better. IMO
