Live tile updates - Slow?

Hey all. On my main area I have 5 tiles are live tiles. It seems that they are updating a bit slow. Like I literally have to wait about 5-6 seconds for it to update. Is this normal? Is there a setting to speed this up? Is this a matter of having too many tiles On one screen area?

I think that's pretty normal. There may be settings in the app to change the frequency of tile updates.
