Live tiles not live anymore

Is anyone else on the preview having problems with their live tiles? Mine are just static - no longer flipping and updating with information. Two examples are News and also Weather. When I tap and hold or right-click them to bring up options, there is no longer the option to enable the live tile as there was in 8.1. I tried going back to the Start screen via the registry tweak, and they're not live there anymore either.

This is a known issue and is being tracked. Thanks for using the tech preview and providing feedback, we've heard this issue crop up on other forums as well so we're definitely looking at it

Glad I'm not the only one Some seem to be kinda OK, like Weather and Facebook. Others update but very infrequently, like Mail. Some work but don't render correctly, like Tweetium and sometimes Weather. And some don't work at all, like Windows Central.
