Tap to shoot needs to be disabled in order to make continuous autofocus work. I guess the app just makes Focus API calls again and again in the background.

Tried 1shot with my 1020 - continuous autofocus does actually work.

Oh yeah I forgot, continous focus was added in the Windows Phone 8.1 API.

From my experience, the continuous focus API is not working on Lumia 1020 right now with Windows Phone 8.1 preview. Hopefully Cyan can make it work.

Oh yeah I forgot, continous focus was added in the Windows Phone 8.1 API.
