Location service

My phone seems to drain more battery when locationservice is on.
But I don't know if mye uses data to triangulate my position or if the phone avtually uses the GPS , we all know GPS is a huge batterydrainer.
I'm struggeling to find out if should turn location permanently off to save my battery or leave it on.

location services does drain battery , what I will recommend you is to turn it on when you need (for instance when you are using maps , just turn it on and then when you have finished using navigation you can safely turn it of)
