Lock screen on the Icon

I'm all around excited and worried about the lock screen, when it gets updated. Will it work on the Icon? Right now, the Icon doesn't have the simple functions like glance or double-tap to wake, due to some screen memory not available for the Icon. Will the Icon get the update and be able to work?
Will glance and double-tap come for the Icon, or all phones later?

Are you talking about WP 8.1? Yes, the Developer Preview works great and the Icon should get it when released. It doesn't add glance or double-tap. Although some people say "it will come with a future update," I don't count on it. That being said, I miss it a lot coming from the 928, even having the Icon for a couple of months.
