Lock Screen Time Out: Will Windows 10 for Phone include the never option?

The 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes screen time out is useless to me.

Anyone else feels my frustration? Does anyone know if Win10 will fix this?

Huh, How did you guys get that? It is time for an upgrade. I'm stuck on a Lumia 925 waiting for the next flagship. Are you guys running Denim on your Lumias?

My Icon lacked the 'never' option for screen time-out when I was using the Developer Preview(running lumia black). However, when I got Denim today, it was one of the first things I noticed when I was changing settings.

Is it the devices with AMOLED screens that lack the "never" option? That could be to prevent screen burn in.

When I had a Lumia 900, I didn't have the "never" option, but my Lumia 920 has always had the "never" option. Lumia 900 is AMOLED. Lumia 920 is LCD.

I got 2 lumias,both on denim,520 doesnt have the never option,730 does,i guess it depends on the device's screen?

Well that explains it. Yes I have AMOLED screen. Shoot. My mistake for blaming MSFT all this time. I hope Win 10 fix this. But I will stay away from AMOLED screens going forward. Thanks that makes sense.

yeaah lumia 730, 735 and 830 came with denim
