Hi, all.

When I bought my Icon, I noticed how there is no 'Never' option for when your screen times out. That option was on my 920 and it's a nice feature to have. Does anyone with 8.1 have the 'Never' time out option, or is it just the way it is on Icons, regardless of software version? Thanks.

I have the never option on my 930.
I HAD the never option on my Lumia 710 when I first got it then for some reason it disappeared.
I has something to do with an email or exchange account. I just deleted my work email and my old school email off my old 710 (which I am going to factory reset anyways since everythings migrated over to my 930) and now I have the option again.

Just read online that if you have corporate email connection, it can affect the 'never' option. It also says, not every lumia phone has the 'never' option. I think that's pointless. They hall should have that option. What would be the reason not to have it? Oh, well:)

Hi!

Can you share or privately mail the link to what you read that said that stuff about the never option please? Would love to know which phones did and didn't have the option... I dropped my 920 and bust it, now need to replace it!

Many thanks.

Hi. I just now saw your reply. I don't remember where I saw that online. I did a search that day. Sorry.

I too had the "never" option on my 928. It was handy when using a mileage app on the 928. Seems like when the screen locked, it messed up the current trip I was tracking.

But, with the Icon, it seems to handle the screen locking with no issues. So I guess no "never" option due to the screen composition?

Ditto to this question, and I'll add a screen locking issue on phone calls: on incoming calls my Icon screen locks automatically, and I have to unlock it with the power button manually. Would love a different behavior here.
